Easy Step-by-Step Instructions for making Rice Puri at Home.

Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, mix the rice flour, semolina, carom seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, and salt. Gradually add water, little by little, and knead into a smooth dough. If the dough feels too dry, add more water. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes to soften. Time: 10-15 minutes

Heat the Oil: In a deep frying pan or kadhai, heat enough oil for frying over medium heat. To test if the oil is ready, drop a small piece of dough into the oil; if it rises immediately, the oil is hot enough. Time: 5 minutes

Shape the Puri: Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball between your palms to form a small disc, about 3-4 inches in diameter. Roll gently with a rolling pin to ensure uniform thickness. Time: 10 minutes
