Let it ferment for 8 to 12 hours in a warm place. The batter should be thick and slightly bubbly. (Time: 15-20 minutes for preparation, 8-12 hours for fermentation)

Heating the Pan: Place a non-stick or cast iron tawa on medium heat. Add a little oil or ghee and let it heat up. You can test the temperature by sprinkling a little water on the pan—it should sizzle. (Time: 3-4 minutes)
