Kidney shaped, tiny (about 1 mm in length), seed known as Khus Khus in India, Khus Khus/ Poppy Seed is an oilseed obtained from opium poppy. Poppy Seeds is known for it’s culinary and medicine purpose since ancient times.

Even today some people consume this (Direct) for treating Asthma, Constipation, Cough and etc

Generally Poppy Seed is used in dishes like cakes, pastries, sweets etc, and poppy seed oil is used in making soap, paint etc.
