Easy Step-by-Step Instructions for making Masaledar Puri at Home.

Preparing the Dough: Begin by combining whole wheat flour, rice flour  and spices in a mixing bowl. Gradually add water and knead until you get a smooth, firm dough. Let it rest for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. (Time: 10-15 minutes)

Heating the Oil: While the dough rests, heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadhai over medium heat. You want the oil to be hot enough to fry the puris, but not smoking. (Time: 5-7 minutes)

Shaping the Puri: Take small portions of dough and roll them into small balls. Flatten each ball into a disc using a rolling pin, ensuring it's not too thin. You can lightly dust with flour while rolling if needed. (Time: 10-12 minutes)

Frying the Puri: Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the puris into the oil. Fry each one for about 2-3 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crisp. Make sure the oil temperature is right so the puris puff up and cook evenly. (Time: 10-12 minutes)
