How to Make Paratha/ पराठा – Easy Step-by-Step Instructions.

Preparing the Dough: Begin by mixing the flour and salt in a bowl. Slowly add water, a little at a time, and knead to form a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes. (Time taken: 10 minutes)

Dividing the Dough: After the dough has rested, divide it into equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a smooth round shape. (Time taken: 2 minutes)

Rolling the Paratha: On a flat surface, dust with flour and roll each dough ball into a flat, round circle. Aim for an even thickness, but not too thin. (Time taken: 3-4 minutes)

Cooking the Paratha: Heat a tawa or griddle on medium heat. Place the rolled-out paratha on the tawa and cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until small bubbles form. Flip it over and cook the other side. (Time taken: 2 minutes per side)

Finishing the Paratha: Once both sides are golden brown, apply a little oil or ghee, and cook for another 30 seconds on each side for a crispy finish. (Time taken: 1 minute)

Total Time: Approximately 20-25 minutes for 4 parathas.
